NMC is keeping mum on unauthorized structures made up of certain business classes in front of their buildings. There are various shops which are operating in Nashik City particularly in Nashik Road where shop owners are made up of additional temporary structures which are against the Municipal Corporation Rules. Instead of allotted built up and sanctioned area, these shop owners have made temporary sheds and made additional sheds which they have fully covered. These shop owners have cleverly violated NMC rules and regulations. Since NMC did not sanction the additional sheds they have made, NMC is loosing its property tax and other income as well. Some shop owners in the name of shop, doing other type of works such as industrial type of works where electricity is required to do their industrial activity. Most of these shops which are operating in Nashik City, particularly in the residential cum commercial buildings have not received NOC neither from the residential societies nor from Muncipal Corporations and these shops which have violated NMC rules and using its shop for industrial works to be stopped and additional temporary sheds prepared for the owners of the shops to be immediately demolished.

Inspite of various applications and appeals given by Nashik Citizen residing in city residential area who are facing problems for noise related business activities in residential cum commercial buildings in residential area, NMC and District Administration is keeping MUM on the issue and not taking any action to stop their noise polluted works. Some body should come forward to take RIGHT OF INFORMATION ACT to know the status of the citizen appeal. District Administration and MPCB alongwith Nashik Muncipal Commission Office should combindely take action against Noise Pollution creating by some individuals in the name of running shop in residential cum commercial builidings.
