Open defiance by the NMC’s advice and public appeal, one Glass Centre whose operation in residential cum commercial complex in Nashik Road against Hans Ashram under question has resumed its noisy machine works and uses the shop as a mini small scale industrial unit. Public has repeately appealed to Nashik Municipal Commissioner, State Pollution Control Board Office, District Collector and Shops and Establishment Office to intervene and stop its operation with immediate effect. After the NMC’s advice, the firm restricted to open the labor unit upto eight in night, but since last few days it again started to continue using electrical machineries to cutting the glasses and aluminum slides, thereby creating noise and nuisance to the people residing in the building as well as near the glass centre. It again re-started its noisy works once again inspite of repeated appeal by the people residing in the area and authorities.

Unbearable noise works and labor works in this building is creating problem for the people residing in the area, particularly students, small children, housewives and elders. Also people’s health is badly affecting and some people are getting uncomfortable to live in the residence. People says that Municipal Corporation always asks to get NOC from the nearest house owners even for allotting a grain flour mill and they do not understand why Nashik Municipal Corporation did not take NOC in this case, before give license to them? Maharashtra Labor Office and Shops and Establishment should also inquire it and cancel its Shop Act License issued to the Glass Centre since they are not operating as a shop but as a mini industrial type labor works.

People asking Nashik District Authorities to intervene and immediately stop the working of the shop and ask them to shift it in any vacant industrial plot nearby Satpur or Ambad, Sinnar Industrial Area.
