The instruments are designed and developed keeping in mind the safety as a key concern which provides utmost safety to the user as well as the device under test which enables the user to safely operate the instrument in any electrical environment.

Many Laboratories in the electronics industry have grown and developed products in their respective field with the help of the test and measuring instruments where these instruments provide high accuracy and precision to achieve the desired result as per the laboratory specifications.

Test and measuring instruments have given a platform for the educational institutes to provide the in-depth practical knowledge regarding the electronics and electrical fundamentals to the students thus enabling the students to grow as a technical professional.

Automation and commissioning personnel find immense confidence in the TMI and have made these instruments the part of their activities considering the performance of the instruments and the safety they provide to the user. This ensures the technician about the perfection in the commissioning and automation of the desired process or equipment.

Rishabh has proven itself by adding value to the industry and society as a whole.

7. Which are the major industry drivers for this segment?
Ans. Changing perspective of electrical instruments industry is that it is going digital, products are mostly based on intelligent microprocessors, demand automatic to log electrical data and subsequent analysis is going up. Rising cost of energy is putting more demand on instruments. Utilities are automating their distribution system by implementing SCADA. Accuracy and resolutions are also improving. We see trend to continue in future, with SCADA technology merging with energy measurement and management systems. New data interfaces like PROFIBUS will mature. Automation will bring much higher growth. India will see major growth in exports because of cost advantages in delivery of complete systems of SCADA and EMS. Plan in India to trifurcate utilities, with each part to become a profit centre will generate demands on utilities for proper auditing and management of energy. This will be a major growth perspective.

Rishabh has indulged itself for the design and development of precise and higher accuracy Multimeters which shall be available at affordable prices to the clients.

To cater to the requirements of the automation industry, Rishabh has planned to make the transducer series faster by reducing the response time. This shall make the control action in the automation industry much faster and yield better results, benefiting the end client.

For the clients to get the benefit under single place, Rishabh shall enter into retailing of electrical instruments in the market, first of its kind of industrial marketing.

9.What major challenges are you facing?
Ans: In our TMI business of Multimeters and insulation testers, we see cheap imports of sub-standard products as one major concern area. These are branded in the name of Indian companies and sold in the market, but at much higher safety risk. It is observed that the use of such products have resulted in several hazards when the user uses these sub-standard imported instruments, but still these products are used. This trend will be a de-motivation for the companies to make long term plan for technology innovations.
